Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.

2019-2020 Activities
Sheri Gon, President 2019-20
President Sheri Gon highlights the activities of ASCLS HI
Advocacy for our Laboratorians
Our primary goal is to advocate for our profession and our patients. We do this by representing the interests of the clinical laboratory and affiliated professions and members of the Society in all government and other forums that affect these interests and being involved in national and state legislation and promoting licensure for all medical laboratory professionals.
Continuing Education
ASCLS HI will host a remote presentation by Gloria Shishido on "Communication Science Effectively." As clinical laboratory professionals we often encounter questions and inaccurate information about our work. Gloria will give us guidelines on how to effectively communicate to educate the general communitty and other health professionals.
More information will be available in early January.
Educate
We want to provide educational opportunities to students, future students, non-laboratory professionals and patients.
